JJob Purpose

The Support Officer – Mechanical Engineering is an entry-level role aimed at developing UAE Nationals by providing hands-on experience in core mechanical engineering support and technical operations. The role supports daily mechanical maintenance activities, assists in troubleshooting and equipment monitoring, and ensures the safe and reliable operation of mechanical systems and infrastructure while building foundational technical and professional skills for long-term growth within the Engineering department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for mechanical systems, equipment, and related infrastructure.

• Assist in inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment such as HVAC systems, pumps, motors, compressors, generators, piping systems, and other mechanical installations.

• Support troubleshooting of mechanical faults and coordinate corrective actions under the supervision of senior engineers.

• Monitor performance of mechanical systems and report abnormalities, breakdowns, vibration issues, leaks, or safety concerns.

• Assist in installation, commissioning, and basic setup of mechanical equipment and systems.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, inspection reports, and technical documentation.

• Support compliance with mechanical safety standards, regulations, and company engineering policies.

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for mechanical maintenance and repair works when required.

• Support asset reliability initiatives and assist in implementing efficiency and performance improvement measures.

• Assist in preparing technical reports, work permits, risk assessments, and documentation as assigned by the Direct Manager.

• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: High School Diploma (Diploma/Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred)

Experience: 0–2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, engineering support, or technical operations; fresh graduates welcome

Nationality: UAE National only
