HSE Support Officer - UAEN
Job Purpose
The HSE Support Officer is an entry-level role designed to develop UAE Nationals by providing practical exposure to core Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) operations. The role supports the implementation of HSE policies, compliance monitoring, and day-to-day safety activities across sites and offices.
The position focuses on building foundational knowledge in workplace safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance while contributing to a safe and compliant working environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards across sites and departments.
• Assist in conducting site inspections, safety walkthroughs, and hazard identification activities.
• Support incident reporting, documentation, and preliminary investigations under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training logs, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in organizing HSE training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
• Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe work practices.
• Support risk assessments and help track corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure adherence to local authority and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing basic HSE reports, statistics, and performance dashboards.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the HSE team as assigned by the Direct Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: High School Diploma (Diploma/Bachelor’s in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred)
• Experience: 0–2 years of HSE, safety, site coordination, or compliance-related experience; fresh graduates welcome
• Certification: Basic HSE training (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH – preferred but not mandatory)
• Nationality: UAE National only
Working days/hours - 4 (four) days a week and 5 (five) hours a day.
