Senior Project Manager
Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing facilities and infrastructure projects within a large-scale, complex operational environment, ensuring successful delivery in terms of time, cost, quality, compliance, and operational requirements.
The role oversees multiple concurrent projects from planning and design through execution, testing, and handover, working closely with contractors, consultants, and operational teams to support safe and efficient operations within a 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
Manage multiple facilities and infrastructure projects across operations.
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards.
Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with company policies, HS&E requirements, and operational procedures.
Project Planning & Execution
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
Prepare project documentation including scopes, specifications, tender documents, and reports.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with technical specifications and contract requirements.
Manage project risks and resolve technical or commercial issues during execution.
Procurement & Contract Coordination
Support procurement processes including tendering, contractor selection, and contract administration.
Interpret contract specifications and manage supplier performance.
Coordinate approvals, permits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Project Governance & Reporting
Maintain project schedules and monitor progress against KPIs.
Provide regular project status updates and performance reports to stakeholders.
Support the development and implementation of Project Management Office (PMO) frameworks and reporting systems.
Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement across project delivery.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.
Experience
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in project or senior project management roles.
Experience delivering facilities or infrastructure projects in large-scale, complex, and operationally critical environments (e.g., major infrastructure, mixed-use developments, or high-footfall assets).
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and contractor teams.
