Senior Manager – Asset Management
Job Purpose
Lead and oversee asset management operations, including strategic planning, financial management, contract management, and asset performance optimization. Ensure delivery of high-quality facilities management services aligned with client expectations, leveraging data, technology, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Lead asset management, contracts, and finance teams to deliver optimal asset performance and value.
Develop and execute asset management strategies, budgets, and performance plans across multiple locations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation within asset management practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and HSE standards.
Collaborate with senior leadership and clients to enhance asset management and contracting models.
Asset Management
Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned with ISO 55000 standards.
Establish and maintain asset registers and lifecycle management plans (20–30 year horizon).
Drive performance optimization and cost efficiency of physical assets.
Promote best practices and knowledge sharing across facilities management teams.
Operational Planning (Opex & Capex)
Lead development of 3–5 year operational and capital expenditure plans.
Oversee annual FM planning and service delivery performance.
Review maintenance strategies and ensure alignment with operational and contractual requirements.
Implement FM quality standards, policies, and procedures.
Financial Management & Contracts
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
Analyze financial performance to support strategic decision-making.
Oversee contract management strategies for third-party service providers.
Ensure cost control and value optimization across FM operations.
Technology, Data & Systems
Lead implementation and optimization of FM technologies (e.g., CMMS, BMS, SCADA).
Manage asset data systems including BIM and CAD.
Ensure accuracy and governance of asset databases and documentation.
Drive data-driven insights and reporting to enhance asset performance.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for asset management-related matters with clients.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and government authorities.
Ensure alignment between operational teams and client expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Asset Management, Facilities Management, Property Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 10+ years of experience in asset/facilities management.
Proven leadership experience in senior management roles.
Demonstrated success in asset strategy development, financial management, and operational delivery.
