Job Purpose:
The BMS Specialist will join our dynamic and fast-growing team to help us deliver energy efficiency solutions to the building sector.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage projects involving different building management system (BMS)/energy management systems.

• Develop and test software programs necessary to operate the system per the intent of case-by-case project requirements.

• Prepare energy efficiency operating procedures and perform re-commissioning of existing BMS systems.

• Complete systems analyses, scoping studies, front-end design work, and collaborate on designs with contractors and consultants.

• Design and develop new control systems for HVAC, lighting, etc.

• Create flow/schematic diagrams.

• Prepare BOQ and estimations with energy savings and payback period calculations.

• Perform commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required.

• Assist in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshooting with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.

• Analyze data and present findings/savings achieved in written reports.

• Prepare and present technical presentation to customers.

• Develop and maintain strong supplier/contractor network.

• Execute successful project management within cost and time constrained environments.

• Develop new technical and financial proposals to support business development.

• Accept responsibility and able to work independently in stressful environment.
