Airfield and Civils Maintenance Engineer
Job Purpose
We are looking for a proactive Airfield and Civils Maintenance Engineer to support the day-to-day management of civil infrastructure assets across multiple sites. This role focuses on coordinating service providers, maintaining asset performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards within a critical, high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor contractors to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed standards
Carry out inspections of civil assets including pavements, roads, and structures, ensuring accurate records are maintained
Support the planning and execution of maintenance activities to minimize operational disruption
Review technical documents, specifications, and maintenance plans
Monitor asset performance and report on technical and safety compliance
Participate in internal and external audits
Ensure all changes to scope, specifications, and drawings are properly documented
Support asset lifecycle activities from mobilization through to decommissioning
Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Escalate issues and risks where required
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in facilities management, infrastructure, or aviation environments
Experience managing contractors and service delivery in complex environments
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of civil maintenance and asset management
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (aviation knowledge is an advantage)
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
UAE driving license
